Please find a quick diagram regarding an issue i am having. Usually this issue won't exist as i don't usually have to chamfer the dock, and where it is chamferred it has to be level for truck to get out. Has anyone achieved this accurately. I have made a building pad at -1320 below warehouse ffl. Usually i would just make a couple of floors at a slope though this isn't going to work in his case.I have drawn/marked in red how the truck has to get in and get out of the recessed dock, this is the only way as the council won't allow for truck to reverse in from the street. The 3d image has the highlighted edges which i wish the falling slab to meet up witht he rest of the hardstand/concrete.cheers

This is not a lowered dock, just a depressed grade at the dock, I would do this as a graded region in my topography.

a few options come to mind,
1. split as floors at different level and join with ramp, this way you can control the buildup
2. create a floor based family and create a void to cut the host element the shape you want.
3. use topography tool (possibly)
hope that helps as a starter...

Thanks for all suggestions. Had to bite the bullet, and just use the toposurface. In section and detail view i just ended up using detail line to get the ramp down a thickness/slab look. See attached.

Best Solution:Using a floor, and split it while adding multiple points and adjusting level. This is very accurate and the only way i would suggest if someone asked the question again. Thanks for the help.
