Hi Everyone,

My office has encountered a rather strange problems with our plotted drawing sets.  It seems as though the dimensions are 'floating' away from their associated objects when plotted at full size.  The dimensions are accurately placed in both the .rvt file, as well as the static .pdf -- however, when we sent the files to a third party to have them printed to distrubute to contractors, we started to recieve phonecalls questionsing several of the dimensions, and had discovered this rather unusual problem.  After contacting the plotting service, they had attested that they had no idea what the problem could be, and that they have never experienced this issue before.  I have included a .jpg showing the dimensions placed properly on the .pdf, as well as a .jpg showing the dimensions 'floating away' from the walls on the plotted sheet.  Has anyone encountered this issue before?  Hoping that someone could shed some light on the issue.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated -- thanks!

I think your plotting service has to look at their drivers.....

Did you try different PDF's using different PDF programs?  I doubt that is the problem but a check is easy.

Try printing that portion of that PDF locally to your printer.

Hi WWHub,

We have attempted to print a sample locally to our in-office printer, and had not experienced any issues.  It's strange, becuase the PDFs are static -- not dynamic, so they really should print all at once, similar to an image file.  Since the content is locked, there should be no possible way the dimension lines get thrown off.  We are going to attempt to send a test print to another third party plotter service in town, and see if there are similar issues.  I will plan to contact the original company and ask about driver issues.  Any other thoughts?
