I've a question on achieving a certain view to some floor plans, I've attached an extract for an example project. 

To the right are first floor rooms and to the left and above of these are existing roofs to the ground floor rooms surrounding them. What I'm not overly keen on is the floor plan cut plane cutting through these roofs as shown in the larger roof area to the left. I know that I can change the view settings so that I could raise the cut and top so that the whole of the roof is shown but then I loose the cut through the windows at first floor which is important to maintain.

I know what I'm trying to acheive isn't striclty accurate, but I think makes the drawings clearer. Is there anything which can be done?

Add a plan region.  RFead about that in your HELP.
