Hello everyone, this is my first time asking something here.
I'm making a model of a building from 1930 so I created a family with channel columns according to the sections used in that time. I also created another family of columns using two channels and two plates (not sure if that's the right name). Everything seems normal until I try to put a column into my model, the physical column is not in the blue line of the structural column. it's a few inches appart. I have checked the origin in the family and it's in the center of the section. The other blue lines that are shown are of the channels. What do you think I'm doing wrong? is there a way to just show one blue line in the section?
I'm working with revit 2010.

Hope someone could help me.

it's hard to say without the file i think.
you'd better upload your file to get any useful answers.
