I built a custom stage light for some snazzy renderings.  The fixture itself tilts up and down and rotates all over the place.  What I'm having trouble with is getting the IES to work right.

Is there a way to align the light source with my fixture?  I have too many instances to be trying to mess around with a special IES file for each tilt, wattage, etc.  It's only 143 of them.

3 things:

1) Try recreating the IES based system and remake the Revit file, import it in, and align it from there.

2) Create a reference plane (work plane) for it to attach to.  attach and rotate as required.

3) There should be a tilt/angle control.  I think by default its set to some pretty odd angles (see attachment)

I am creating a custom pendant light fixture family in Revit with suspension length set as a parameter that the user can change.  My pendant adjusts properly, but the custom IES file does not move with it.  I tried creating a reference plane to host it to, but I haven't been able to get it to host.  Any recommendations?

Thanks
