Hey guys,
I want to create a bulkhead (to contain HVAC ducts). So i thought I may create a family (line based), and have a sweep in it so i can create the bulkhead on the plan by choosing lines.
The issue is when creating the bulkhead with chain, it doesnt join the corners! any idea how to make it do so?
Or if you know a better default tool to create such thing, please let me know.
Thanks.

Create that with "In-Place" sweep

Just create that profile and use an in-place sweep. That will turn all corners and you can point to lines to create the path.
We usually use a ceiling and a wall.

Thanks for your replies guys, I thought in using sweep in-place, but i have 4-6 of them in 36 condos! wgich would be a huge time consuming!!
so i thought a family line based would accelerate m the process!
"WWhub" i think its better to stick to the ceiling/wall way as you can schedule things (with quantities) later. but with the nuimber mentioned above, i think i have to consum all my day today in creating ceiling!!!
Thanks guys again.

The ceilings and bulkhead walls are easy. Create one ceiling (soffit) by sketching and add you wall with correct offsets off the floor. Then copy paste this to your other areas and edit the ceiling sketch - pull/push your bulkhead wall ends and your done.
You may want to do this from a working floor plan view with cut plane above your ceiling so you can see your walls.

Thought they can be problematic in some cases, for creating bulkhead like things. I think stacked walls work quiet nicely.
P.S. How's the CAD to Earth going.

"Coreed" you sir have lighten a bulp over my head!
in fact, I've created a tacked wall directly and tried it and it works, but the only problem is the joints with other walls!
It has really bad joint behavior, and fixing it with Revit is such a pain!
but nice one huh, I like it!
