I have returned to a project started in Revit 2008 and then put on deep hold. In 2013 now. Apparently, when I uninstalled 2008, it deleted the Keynotes text file. I was going to reconstruct it but the PDF for format shows haveing discipline information that I don't need, as I was using two letter keys and a description. Can I omit the lines for discipline and just start it with the keys and notes for each?

You only need the notes and keys that you use - numbers can be skipped.
Remember - this file MUST be a simple txt file - no formating.
PS - We always keep the keynotes file in the project directory.
