Aloha all, I am spending the summer learning how to fit REViT into my workflow (i am formZ user for 3D modeling). . . my question has to do with arranging all the views. I have found a nice arrangement on my 2 screen setup with the elevations grouped in cascading manner at the bottom of my screen with larger planview or whatever view i am currently working on above and my proj. browser & prop mgr on my hidef 46" TV. So how do i keep this view setup when i close this project? I looked under view>windows>user interface etc. but couldn't find a way to preserve this setup. Any ideas?
Also . . . why is it that i CAN drag the afore mentioned proj. browser/prop windows but cannot do so for the 3D view or any of the Elevation/plan/section windows?
Oh i am on a Mac running parallels and can report that REViT is remarkably stable and quick! But when it gets cross with me it really crashes then i have to restart parallels - tho not the mac - curious eh? Oh the mac us an imac w/ 8 gig RAM intel core duo 2.93GHZ L2 6MB ATI Radeon HD 7850 512MBVRAM seems to handle the simple set of wonderful tutorials just fine> kudos to the gent who posted the house set they are super helpful and very nicely done!

As far as I know there is not a way to keep your windows the same everytime you open your project. The only thing I can think of is perhaps there is an Add-in out there that would do this but I have not seen one.
"why is it that i CAN drag the afore mentioned proj. browser/prop windows but cannot do so for the 3D view or any of the Elevation/plan/section windows? "
I'm not sure what you mean? You can't drag them when they are tiled?

Mahalo for responding,
No when i try to move them from my Mac Window over to the HDTV window (where the proj browser and properties window have been moved to) i am "stopped" - the cursor can continue over but the actual window stops for some reason. Other programs like Vectorworks, AutoCAD, formZ, photoshop all function correctly - for some curious reason only REViT behaves this way.
I've included a screenshot but to verbally describe it the light blue border around my elevation/plan/ etc., window disappears almost all the way but does not show up on the HDTV screen but the mouse pointer DOES continue to move.
Also my extended keyboard numeric pad doesn't register which means i always have to remember to use the numbers on the main set - not a problem just annoying.
Appreciate the help - Am loving the things that REViT can do well and they are legion! I guess it is a bit like learning sweedish square dancing underwater in logging boots. Lots of little steps but once you find them there is joy in the parametric swing of things eh?

What version of Revit are you using? Do you have your multiple display settings set up correctly? See this thread
