Hi all,
I am a new user of Revit MEP, and I am trying to change the visibility settings for a downloaded exhaust fan. It shows through the walls and roof in all elevations and 3D views. I went to the view tab, but I'm not finding the solution. Any ideas?
Thanks, any help is appreciated!

From your HELP:
The following families are not cuttable and are always shown in projection in views:
- Balusters
- Detail Items
- Electrical Equipment
- Electrical Fixtures
- Entourage
- Furniture
- Furniture Systems
- Lighting Fixtures
- Mechanical Equipment
- Parking
- Planting
- Plumbing Fixtures
- Specialty Equipment
- Detail Items
- Entourage
- Mechanical Equipment
- Parking
- Planting
- Plumbing Fixtures
- Specialty Equipment
That means if any part of the family (INCLUDING INVISIBLE LINES) is within the view limits, the entire family shows.

I have used many of the components listed below before, and they don't appear through the roof and all the walls. When looking at the opposite elevation of the building, the fans appear as if they are on that side of the building. Also, in the 3D views, the fans are visible through the roof, although they are located in the wall. I tried hiding elements in the view, but it hid the fans in all views.
