Just assign a tmber material to the elements in your fence.

I couldn't find where i can assign a new material, in "Edit Type" there is no option to change material. So I just downloaded timber fence from RevitCity and placed it instead of railling.
Anyway thank you for the reply.

Once you hit edit type you need to Edit the Rail Structure and apply the material in there. Balusters need to be assigned in the actual baluster family that is being used. If you can't figure something out its always best to look around for the answer instead of just giving up and going with something else because its the only way you will learn for next time.
