Greetings,
This will seem a bit cheeky (like I'm asking someone else to do my work for me, but...) I am trying to create a glass balustrade with a side mounted handrail. You can see from the two images attached what I want and what I currently have. I'm using Revit Arch 2013.
I have searched for tutorial videos which all show metal railings/balustrades which don't really help me much and I have tried all the different settings for the railings/balustrades etc but nothing seems to work.
If someone could help or point me towards a good resource to solve this problem, that would be appreciated very much.
Many thanks,
CM.

Although you can do this as railing, it is difficult. I would do it as a glass wall and sketch the profile. Then the handrail would mount to that.

Or an in-place family - railing category. Done from an elevation view, all of the sections along one side can be sketched as one with the slots showing.

Hi, thanks for the tips.
Here is where I am now with the stairs (see image), almost there. As you can see I have some overlap issues with the glass balustrade on the landing. The path has been drawn as three adjoining lines but I'm not sure what else I can do to remove the clash.
Any suggestions would again be appreciated.
Many thanks,
CM.

I would go with WWHubs second suggestion. In the amount of time it takes you to fool around with trying to get it exactly right using the railing command you could have it done an finished and moved on by just creating an in-place family.

A railing rather than a panel are the way to go here. Cleans up much easier.
If you require the joins, a model in place works / model lines for a simple fix.
