I have a very agnoy problem, I am using revit drawing a project, some wall types when I draw always not related to the levels on which I drew. For example if I draw a wall on level one, I would like the wall top is on the level two, the botom of the wall is on the level one, and there is no top offset or bottom offset unless I intentionally set them.
But now when I draw wall, it alway goes to unrelated level and unreasonable top or bottom offset, and I have to adjust manually one by one , that 's reall annoying.
See the picture, I drew on 02 skywalk level, but the wall properties shows the bottom of the wall is on 01 street level. the top offset is 27'6"
my question maybe too easy, but I really agnoied by it.

may be you changed work plane sometime before..
you have to reset work plane at the view you want to work at, before you draw walls.
after change work plane in a view, the work plane is not going to be changed unless you change it again at the view.

but didn't the default workplane should be the level at which you draw?

How did you create that plan view? If you just copied another plan and changed the name, then that is your problem. Create the plan from the view tab.
