Hello
I have a 100 ft duct with 3600 cfm. The duct is 24 in. in Dia. I'm trying to find the Loss Coefficient.
Revit 2013 gives me a value of .821083.
I hand calculated the value based on the Altshul-Tsal friction factor equation . The number I came up with
was .016323.
Re-236450.6, Dh-24, E-.0003,
Why the difference in numbers?
Thanks

Are you sure your calculations are correct?
