I am doing my first residential project in REVIT. How do I layout receptacles along the wall to meet NEC 6ft and 12ft spacing requirement without placing dimensions alont the walls first?

Almost all elements in Revit show temporary dimensions when you place elements and you can edit that dimension.

That's fine on a straight surface. But what happens when the 12' turns a corner? in AutoCAD you could draw a p-line and measure it. Or draw a line and off-set the line and rotage it at the corner of the room. How do I do that in Revit?
