Hi,
Is it able to join 2 walls like this? -> see attachment .jpg please.I'm asking, because I can't do this in Revit. So I made it in pshop for showing an example.
I would appreciate if someone could help me.
THanks,

Assuming the grey is the core, you will always get # 3 in a joined condition. But if you have wrapping on and turn off the wall join on the blue butten at the end of the wall, you should get #1.

Hi,
It's not possible to unjoin these 2 walls. I did attach the .rvt file (revit 2013).
they are still joined, wrap is on and the grey one is idd the core.

You are incorrect, you did not do what I told you to do.
I wrote"...turn off the wall join on the blue butten at the end of the wall." Click on the wall then right click on the blue butten at the end of the wall. Then click on "disallow join".

thank you, but actually it didn't work yet. I thought it was correct, but it did something else then it should be like the left image in my attachment....
I did select the brickwall > right mouse click on blue dot > disallow join > moved the end of the wall to the correct place and now I got this -->> see new attachment. Did I read it well for this time?
I tried to play with it afterwards, but didn't help yet...

Not a genius - just doing this for awhile.
Revit has a lot of nuances .... if you really want to learn it, READ THE HELP! Just start on a category and read everything in that area. It may make little sense at first but by experimenting with the processes shown, it will all soon come together.

READ THE HELP! I really can't say it enough.....Like Ragu, it's in there. (If you are American, you understand this)

I did read the help and I will keep reading it. I just didn't find it yet there!
If you think that READING HELP is the solution, send RevitCity a mail and tell them to quit this job, because people are asking questions here. Maybe they will listen and close the website. Why? Because Revit has HELP!
