Hi all,After searching via google I couldn't find an answer: What are core boundaries, why I can't delete them and why should I use them? (look attachment screenshot)Maybe a stupid question, but there are always people that say: "stupid questions don't exist" Now I've got backup! Could someone explain this or solve the problem?
Thanks in advance...Sef. (Revit architecture 2013)

Hi,
Thanks for your reply, but I couldn't find any information about it in HELP. Also my search function didn't work... I don't know why, but I can't search. That's the reason I'm asking it here : )
I'm still searching, but please, if someone knows, tell me. I have to know!
ty,
Sef

For HELP I'm using http://wikihelp.autodesk.com/Revit/enu/2013/Help/00001-Revit_He0/0328-Build_th328/0330-Architec330/0331-Walls331/0336-Modifyin336/0347-Working_347/0354-Layer_As354
now.
I'd read it, but still don't have any answers on my questions yet.... Those are rules, they don't explain me what core boundaries are...
Thank you anyway.

Every wall type in Revit has a core material with a boundary on either side of it. The core which is the layers between the two boundary lines defines the structural part of the wall and influences the behavior of the wall and how it interacts with other elemenets in the model. The core of a wall creates references to which you can dimension. The core boundary cal also be used as the location definition when drawing host elements like walls, floors, ceilings and roofs.
