can someone tell me the easiest way to create a window sash for an awning window - I am trying to create a 3 panel highlight window about 2400 high but I want to change the width & height of the window & therefore I want the window sashes & glass to change scale with the rest of the window.
cheers

hi leeroy, there are many experts on revitcity that are very knowledgeable on family creation. and all warn that the family editor is scarey, and i agree. i am a relative newbie, under 12 months use, and have had some successes with it. here is my advice in relation to your question -
read, read, read all the tutorials, and help section.
do not 'over-constrain' your families.
go simple, and add sophistication as you improve.
specifically - on your 3 section window, add reference planes, with an 'equal' set of dimensions to constrain it; then draw your extrusions, and each time 'lock' them to those reference planes.
but at each step do what mr spot and others say - flex the model a lot! if a problem arises, back up and fix. also change the thickness of the wall, just to see what happens, in case.
others will go deeper for you, so keep checking back.
hope that helps.
