Afternoon all,
I have an autoCAD file with topo levels (modelled with Z value)
I am trying to create a surface in Revit but it doesnt allow me to select the imported DWG and there are too many spot levels to do point by point.
Can someone help please.
Thanks

This is really easy. Just follow the directions in your HELP:
Creating a Toposurface

The help files in Revit are really good. There is some excellent videos on youtube as well.
Normally I import the dwg file and then under the site tab, I create a topo from that dwg file.
You'll probably need to massage some of the topographic levels to make it perfect but all in all its a brilliant quick result.

Similar issue, just a basic question.
Civil didnt provide topo lines on thier site evaluation, only spot elevations.
Any comments/recomendations how to handle contouring with spot elevations?

Also make sure the cad file isn't 'pinned' and the selection settings on the lower left isn't set to 'Not Select Pinned Elements. You can't use what you cannot select. . .
