Im creating a gym and one of the requirements for it is that it needs to have an upstairs track. I would like to try to make it a suspended upstairs track or a track around the edge of the walls so that you could look over the fence or through a window and see whats going on below. How would i do that without having pillars or supports down below.(below it would be grandstands and 2 full sized basket ball/sports courts.
Thank you

I'm not sure you are going to get a lot of answers. This is a Forum for helping with Revit related problems, not really a how to construct something forum.

Hi k9kure,
Teafoe5 is right.
A cantilever structure should do it.
Please see link here: http://www.google.com/search?q=cantilever&rlz=1T4MXGB_enUS517US517&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ei=1y6NUbPfJu7ligK8zYGgAw&ved=0CEMQsAQ&biw=1402&bih=671
That will give you some ideas for your preliminary design.
Then, ask your structural engineer for further details.

1. Suspension rods down from ceiling.
2. Cantilever from perimeter wall using beams.
3. A curved truss that runs below the track floor. It will require less columns as it can span far greater.
