How do I adjust just the steel in a section at a slab edge made by the shaft opening tool. I can do it at a slab edge, but not where the slab edge was made using the shaft tool.

What do you mean adjust the steel? Attach an image of what you are trying to accomplish

Sketch the hole in your floor sketch and don't use the shaft tool.

And this is what frustrates new users. You have a very cool tool like the shaft, but the finsh product (the section on the contarct documents) is shown wrong.

I asked to see an image of what the problem is becuase I don't understand it. What is shown wrong? Maybe WWHub knows what you mean but I think your question is to vague.
I think a lack of Revit knowledge is what frustrates most new users.. Thats not a shot at you but a lot of new users dont fully understand the capabilities or Revit even if a workaround is needed.

teafoe,
I think he wasn't asking about "adjusting the steel" bur rather how to add a slab edge sweep to the floor hole created by a shaft. I don't use shaft because of some of their problems so I sketch holes.
Way too many users don't communicate well verbally. This industry relies on communication and we all should work at being prsice in what we say.

I guess this confused me.
I normally just sketch openings also.

I'm sorry I thought I was being precise. Here’s what I mean, See the deck stops short of the slab.

I'm still not understanding... Where does a shaft come into play?

when you make the slab opening using the shaft tool it doesn't give you the option of cutting the steel back.
