Hey all!
Recently I installed Autodest Revit Architecture 2013 (instead of my previous version which was 2011)
Now when I start a new project and choose default template I'm starting with an empty screen, there are no elevation symbols or anything else. When i draw a curved wall and i want to change that into a curtain wall it becomes straight.I'm only able to choose out of one type of curtain walls (before i had three options). Also when i want to load a material i'm not able to choose masonry of any kind...The component-library is also empty :sCan someone help me please, I think I need to link some files or install something 'extra', no ?
Thanks in advance!
Lucas

Had you modified your starting template in the 2011 file? I suggest you open that file in 2013 to upgrade it and re-save it as your new template. You will have to set your pointer to this file if it is named differently. You can set that path under the revit R.

You need to set your template file location under R>Options
For your curtain wall types, if you don't have what you are looking for just create a new one. I'm assuming the curtain walls you had before were part of your template file so once you set up your file locations to use your template file they would be included again
When you change your wall to a curtain wall it is going straight because you cant have a "curved" curtain wall, you will need to add your grids to your curtain wall at the spacing you want and your curtain wall will update to the curve you need (see attached images, one without grids stays straight but has the curve properties and one with grids changes the curtain wall to follow the curve)

Seems like your installation wasn't a Full instalation... Try to REPAIR that instalation and check if you install the Libraries... BTW, Curtain Walls are Straight, not curved, you have to "divide" that panel to create a curved wall....

Thanks for the fast responds !!!
I tried to repair Revit but nothing really changed...I now opend an old file (2011 version) and let it 'upgrade' to 2013. I deleted everything and started
drawing my new project. Now I'm able to choose several components, materials and curtain walls.. Its not ideal but it
will have to fo for now... deadlines are closing in
Thanks again !
