I've been trying to load a Ceiling Fan from Revit structure into 2013 Revit MEP. The fan info shows up in the properties menu, but the fan does not show in the model. Has anyone else had this issue? Will a structure family render in an MEP model?

All elements from any model can show up in other Revit models. Expand your VG to show other disciplines and turn on everything to see if it will show up. If that doesn't do it, change your view discipline to coordination.
BTW - Why would they have a ceiling fan in structural? Seems that should be an architectural or MEP element anyway.
