I want to know about your experience using Material Takeoff.I need to make a schedule of rebar of all concrete columns and beams of a 12 level building.
I need to show the total weight of reinforcement
Do you know the best method to do that?.

Unless you actually model all of the rebar in Revit (which I don't suggest) you will most likely have to do this by hand. You might also be able to add a shared parameter to include in your beams and columns for rebar sizing, lengths, etc. and then use a multi-catagory tag to schedule the information. Not sure how this would help with total weight however, you would still most likely need to do that by hand.
