Hello, I am using rvt 2012. I have assigned floor finishes to cramic tiles with a thickness of 20mm. I did it by duplicating generic floor and changing it's name, then adding finishes to the floor. However when I render my perspective the floor remains gray as there is no finishes at all. I feel like the solution might be easy, but I couldn't figure it out...I would appreciate any comments and suggestions, what can be the reason?

What height is the new floor. If you copied an existing one it may be sitting within it. Alternatively check your visibility settings. Is it turned on? Type vv, are floors on?
Create a 3d model with only the floors turned on and check it is positioned in such a way that it can be seen.

Thank you for reply. My floor is on the ground lvl, zero offset. Upper l(pool level) is 1800 from the ground. The thing is that when I apply floor finishes I can see tiles on plan, but when I render my perspectives the floor becomes gray. Visibility graphics are on for floors.
I v attached floor plan and perspective. As u can see during rendering it says that some render appearances are missing. What does it mean? I v assigned render appearance too.

If your render tool shows some elements are missing it means you are using materials in your model that refer to textures that cannot be found. Typically this happens when you have a material eg bricks, tiles, grass and the asset associated with that (by asset I mean the jpeg image of the brick/tiles/grass) is missing. Track through all your materials used and check each of their assets. If a jpeg texture is missing it will be highlighted in red in the asset window. When the render brings up the warning it normally tells you what jpeg is missing.
Good luck.
