Hi guys,

I have been having a lots of trouble installing Revit 2014 version, for some resons all components can be installed apart from Revit 2014 itself. Attached is a log that is showing error 1603 but it does not give any specific info. I have looked all over the web about 1603 and its mostly related to Microsoft Visual but not in this case. Also to note, I do still have version 2012 installed on my computer, would that be a possible reason? Do I have to remove 2012 version first?

did you download the installer or use media mailed to you? i would try to download it again. make sure your virus protection is off

I have tried to install from DVD, did not work. Then I downloaded all the files on my hard drive and tried again, no luck. Also tried with anti virus turned off, same story. The only thing I can think of is a possibility of conflict with 2012 version, but do not want to remove older version before I am sure that is the problem.
