I am new to Revit. How do I add a bottom chord extension to joists? I know that I can change the seat, but not sure how to go about doing it for the bottom chord.

I thought you could drag the bottom chord but I just tried and I don't see how either. However if you edit the family (be careful if your new) there is a dimension and reference lines that lock the location of the bottom chord extension that you can add a parameter to for each side of the truss such as Bottom Chord Start Offset and Bottom Chord End Offset.
