dear all,
Iwas happy with my families...(model it, place it into my project),and still....
but some times Ravit appear a warrning (YOU MUST CHOOSE FAMILY FILES OF THE CATEGORY COMPONENT)
is it about (ADSK) files..?

If you go to the family in question in the Project Browser and right click on it will it let you create an instance of the family?

You are trying to load families in the wrong category.

Surely if he is just trying to load the family from the family editor into the project then Revit should take care of the category?
