We have 3 installations of Revit MEP 2013 in our office.  The most recent installation is missing the MEP families.  Perhaps it was an option that was not checked when it was installed...I don't know.  What is the best way to load those families?  Can they be copied from the other computers?  I assume it's more of a process than just straight copying.  Is there a better way to install them?

Thanks in advance,

John

Are you really installing the library on every system?  We keep that on the network where it can be controlled.

for now, yeah, we're installing on each machine.  We're just getting to the point where we may want to put in on the network.  Is that just a matter of copying the library files to a network drive and configuring each machine to look there for it?

Just copy over the Library Folder and point to it in the REVIT options. Better to put it on the network and point to it there however and no more difficult. Probably easier in fact.

Putting the libraries on the network did the trick!  Thanks from a newbie.
