Hello all, first post here with quite an annoying problem I was hoping some more advanced users could tell me what is going on. Our office is using Revit Building Suite 2013 and I apologize if this question has been answered already but I couldn't find one.
Earlier today I was plotting off some presentation boards and noticed some weird dark and light blocks of gray appearing on my drawings. The boards are being plotted in color (rasterized), they are plotting from Revit to PDF and then the batch PDF is sent to the plotter. However, when I saved the PDF down to JPEGs the boards plot fine. This problem was also appearing on colored plots that were sent to our 11x17 color printer. The blocks are not in the file at all so I am not sure if this is a raster/vector issue, a driver issue, or what. It is not directly associated with our plotter because the two drawings that were plotted before mine came out fine.
Waiting to hear back from our IT guy but I was hoping that someone else has experienced, and fixed this, before.

This kind of problem is almost always driver/plotter problem. You don't say if you see it in the PDF when you look at it there. If it isn't there, then look at what you are printing PDF's from and your plotter.
Just because different drawings plotted correctly doesn't rule out the plotter.

Thanks for the reply WWHub. Sorry I did not mention before but the PDF's that were generated from Revit show none of the abnormalties I described in my original post.
The PDF's are being plotted straight from Adobe Acrobat X. It could possibly be the plotter, I didn't think it was at first though since the same blocks are appearing (in the same exact spot) when printed out in 11"x17" format on a different printer.
