I Linked an excel file to Autocad..and it appear in xref dailog...
once I linked it to revit... nothing happen..
may be an action should take a place in Autocad... need help..

BIMLink is another add-on that I have looked at..for what it's worth.
It's annoying that Revit doesn't have an in-built link for excel. Does anyone know if this is being looked at by AUTODESK ?
I try to avoid this workflow, though sometimes it's required when your back is against the wall. How did you insert your excel table into AutoCAD ? The way I got it to work was to use the 'Table' command then insert the data from the excel sheet using the 'From a data link' insert option. You can specifiy the range of cells you want to capture in your spreadsheet using this method and then you can insert into your Revit project.
