Is there a quick way to make the foreground elements appear heavier than the middle ground and background elements in an elevation?
I am working on a craftsman style house with a lot of protrusions and offsets. the elevation is reading pretty flat and i would like to bump up some of the lineweights.
The only way i can think of is to trace over the profiles i want to bump up with individual lines. Please tell me there is an easier way that Revit can recognize depth of view and apply those in the foreground heavier lineweights.

I was looking for the same function when I first started putting together working drawings in Revit. Revit doesn't have this ability. You could setup linestyles with varying grayscales and use the LineWeight Tool (LW) but you'ld have to make the changes one line at a time. The only thing we've found to soften drawings is to grayscale less critical information like roof patterns, floor patterns, furniture, etc.
