Newbie here using Revit 2013 (Design Suite version, 64bit, Win 7).  I've updated to the latest SP and hotfix versions.

My issue is:  when I am on the Architecture tab and select Wall/Door/Wingow/etc. and then in the Properties Type Selector I click on the down arrow (type selector) to scroll through the list and find the family member I want and click on it, it doesn't select the item.  I have to click on a selection that is visible without scrolling first.  (This is hard to explain!)  Use a door as an example:

When I start the doors, I have Bifold-4 Panel 72"x80" selected.  I want "Single Flush: 32 x 80", so I scroll down and it won't select.  I have to select the bottom door in the list that I can see without scrolling (in this case, Double Glass 72x82) then click the down arrow again and scroll to the single flush door and click on it.  It doesn't select, but the third time it will because now its in my window without scrolling.

I've turned off hardware acceleration, updated drivers, etc, etc, etc.  I'm totally stumped as to what's happening!  Any ideas??

Thank you in advance,

Steven

I've never seen this problem. Is your software legit ? Does appear to be 'video' related.

In the mean time just drag the families in from the project browser ?

* Right click the Type Selector and then > Add to Quick Access Toolbar or Add to Ribbon Modifly Tab. How does it behave there ?

.

FULL 'DOWNLOAD ACCESS' to all 850+ CADclips videos for only $150

Yes, software is legit.  Got the Autodesk flash drive with the entire suite of software to prove it. Smile

I did add it to the ribbon and it works perfect from there!  I tried again on the properties window after adding it and working on the ribbon, and it still doesn't work in the properties window.  Very strange!
