I have just created my first window family. I needed a window for the side of a dormer so I made one !! voila. But its not perfect yet, I need to work out how to make it fit in a wall either way. As it has a corner cut off one side I need to make it flip to work in a wall both ways.

Thank for the encouragement. Any clues on how to make my window (with on bottom corner cut off) to work on either side of the dormer in the image???

Wouldn't it be fine just using the flip control?

That does not seem to work. I may have to make a left & right version as it soes not flip the cut off at the bottom corner where it is supposed to align with the main house roof.
See the image attached

The flip control should solve this problem. Are you putting the correct flip in ??

Insert a regular door and note the two flip icons when you click on it.
That's what you need. In the family you can add horizontal and vertical flip controls.
I'm pretty sure that's what you need.
