So my building is in the side of a hill. How can I cut out the topography so I can actually see into the building?
Any help would be appreciated!

Use a building pad. It's under massing and site.

Note that you can also do some approx. cut-and-fill scheduling too.
I usually have an existing topo (phased to existing). Then cut and paste that topo so it sits on top of the existing. Change one of the topos to 'new construction' or any later phase and Revit will start reporting cut and fill. You will obviously edit the topo on the new phase.
It's never going to be 100% exact, though I find it's useful.
