Hello,
Does anyone know how you can connect two perpendicular beams together?
I have modeled a four sided steel frame with an additonal beam running through the middle.
Please see attached for reference.
When I check the connectivity of the member by right clicking on it and selecting "select joined elements" no other strucutral members are highlighted.
Thank you for your help.

The beams shall be joined at the intersections, as modelled. You can change the end extensions to bring the beam (the extrusion) closer or further away from the intersecting beam ends. Then you can use the cope tool to cope the beam into a perpendicular beam.
I only use the method you talk about when I'm mitering beams together....I think off the top of my head.
