Hello,
I'm working in Revit Architecture 2013. I am trying to insert a DWG file into a detail plan. I made sure all my visibility options are on as well as changing the view depth to unlimited. It does not come up if reveal hidden elements either. Is it even possbile to insert a DWG into a detail plan? If so, how do I go about that?
Sincerely,
Margaret Frank

It does, however, show up in the overall plan.

Some suggestions.
Whenever possible, link - don't insert.
- And place in a separate workset set to be typically off in all views.
Are you working from an activated sheet view? < Don't - Always work from a view.
You say detail view - I assume created by call out in plan - not a floor plan created by call out. There is a difference in what shows up in these two view types.
