I have started to play around with drawing connections and structural items as 'assemblies' which is all well and good untill I ran into problems when it comes to changing multiple instances, I am wondering if there is a way to change one assembly and have every other assembly with the same name change to suit the new configuration or better still have the option to change all or leave the rest as they are and have only the one change and make itself a new assembly.

As it stands now I have to find all the assemblies I want to change and make them the new type while the old type becomes redundant.

I would also like to know how to show neighbouring parts in the views created using the 'create views' tool which I cant seem to figure out how to do.

Any thoughts appreciated.

I haven't done a ton of assemblies but your concerns appear to be 'wish list' items. Just my 2 cents.
