Hi,

I am not able to make the wall bracket touch the handrail, what am i doing wrong. pls. see attached.

i have drawn this handrail after creating stair. no matter how much i try i am not able to make the wall bracket touch the handrail correctly, WHERE ARE THESE SETTINGS TO ADJUST ?

Revit Architecture 2012

The bracket family is done as a balluster.  Look at your settings for that balluster.  Without opening mine, I believe the variable that needs to be changed is offset.

I modified an exsiting baluster to make a customize bracket so it can be added to my handrail. I load it to my project but when I tried to edit my handrail adn change the "Type" to the one I created it doesn't show up. I am not sure what is the right way to do this. please help!

I have the same "baluster not showing up" problem but with the one that do show up, what you have to do is set the host in the top rail with a negative offset equal to the heigth of the baluster you created.
