Ok guys, here's a real doozey (or at least I think it is because I've now spent half a day trying to figure it out and have gotten NOWHERE!)
I have 4 elevation tags that are missing the arrow pointers in my all my floor plan views, I will use Level 1 as an example (see attachment S9-1). The one exception is my Foundation Plan where all the arrow pointers on the elevation tags are visible (see attachment S9-2).
When I select the elevation tag, the checkbox that the elevation represents is selected and the elevation view appears in my Project Browser under 02. Construction Documents>Elevations>SE Elevation (see attachment S9-3).
If I go to the SE Elevation view and switch the Phasing under 'S9 Phasing Organization' from 02. Construction Documents to 01. Schematic Design then go back to my Level 1 floor plan the elevation arrow now displays (see attachment S9-4).
CONFUSED YET?!
Troubleshooting I have already done:
- Created fresh, new elevation tags - same result every time.
- Checked to make sure the elevation view intersects all floor plan views
- Revealed hidden elements - arrows are not there
- Compared all view properties of Level 1 and Foundation - they are all identical with the obvious exceptions (compare attachments S9-1 and S9-2). The only notable difference is that my Foundation plan view has two extra rows under Graphics. They are Detail Number and Rotation on Sheet. I'm not sure why this view has these while my Level 1 & 2 don't but the Site Plan also has these rows and the elevation tags do not display properly on it so I doubt that this has anything to do with it.
- I suspect it may have something to do with the custom phasing we have set up in our office (set up by previous employee). As stated above in one of the comments, when I switch the phasing from 02. Construction Documents to 01. Schematic Design the elevation arrows display properly in all plan views. The wierd thing is that this has never happened before.

Yes, I am confused. What is this "S9 Phase Organisation"?. This must be the custom Phasing you refered. Can you tell us what it is and how it is suppose to work with in the Phasing process. Is this type of in-house cutomizing the reason you guys are still on version 2011?

What phase was the view set to when you created the view in question .... the wrong one obviously.

coreed:
"S9 Phase Organisation" was set up by a previous employee presumably to set up some sort of file organisation system within the project browser to group drawings that were intended for Schematic Design vs. Construction Documents. I didn't set this up so I don't know exactly how she did this. When I go to Manage>Phasing, the custom phases that she set up (4 in total) do not show up, I only see 'Existing' and 'New Construction' (see attachment)
WWHub:
The phase was set to '02. Construction Documents' when I created the elevation views. This is the one it should be set to because I want those elevations to be assigned to the Construction Documents phase. You can see also that I have my phase filter set to 'none' so there shouldn't be anything hidden because of this.

In the posted image your Phase filter is set to "Show All", not none.
