I enjoy working with my wall detail level set to "fine" and "realistic". Im currently working on a project where I just finished the first floor with no problems. However, now that I have moved on to the second floor- my walls show up as grey shapes with no detail whatsoever. The only difference any setting makes is that it goes from grey to white when I select wireframe- but even in wireframe or hidden line I can see in fill paterns denoting materials, etc. I did a check and just opened up a new blank file and created 2nd story walls and they appear just fine. Any thought? Is that some sort of error or am I simply missing a view option?

(see the photos for a comparison)

Maybe start by comparing the 'view range' settings and 'cut plane' between the 2nd floor on your first project (not looking good) to the second floor on the second project (which looks ok).

Also check the wall heights and top and bootom constraints.
