Ok. so I just down loaded revit 2013 and now trying to modify a stacked wall that has a stone base and plaster above.  However I dont see the columns to modify the height of each wall structure under the structures setting.  Also, I cant change the thickness of each type of materials because it's grey out.    Have I missed a step?  help.

I'm not sure where you are going that you are not seeing how to change the heights of the stacked walls, see attached image. Click on the wall, edit type, click on the edit button and it will bring you into the  edit assembly dialog box where you can change start and end offsets.  As for changing the thickness you need to go into the wall type that makes up the stacked wall and change it there.  If you have a stone base and plaster above you need to edit the stone base wall that makes up the stacked wall and the plaster seperately.

Thanks.  I realized I was under the wrong wall family .
