Take a look at the attached image. I want this vertical rebar to extend up from the foundation slab, into the curb, with a standard 90 degree hook that is aligned with the continuous bar in the top of the curb. Make sense? So, I can get a single rebar placed in the wall like I want (as shown in attached image). But, when I change it to a multiple layout (max spacing = 12"), it places the layout perpendicular to the wall/curb, in which case I only get (2) bars. The wall is 21 feet long, so I should get about 22 bars.
Thanks in advance for your help!!

I've attached a 3D of the problem too which may clarify what I'm trying to do.

Maybe create a workplane, name it and use that workplane to place the first hooked bar. Make the workplane perpendicular to the length of the curb. Then once you get one bar do the layout.

There's always the chance that, I'm just not holding my mouth right.
But as best I can tell, that doesn't work either. I just tried work planes in both directions and section cuts in both directions, and I can't get it to work. This really can't be that difficult.......surely.
