Hi There
I just want to check, can you change the text arrows to be a custom one? For example, change from a 30 deg. arrow to a 60 deg. arrow...? or if I wanted to make the arrow nice a thick... can be done some how?
I would appreciate the help..
Thank you

Click on your text and then edit type in your properties and you will see Leader Arrowhead under Graphics of the type properties box. Unfortunately what you get with Revit are your only options right now so you cant make a "custom" arrowhead.

Actually you can create custom arrowheads within reason. You are limited to the basic shapes but you can modify those shapes and I believe you can in fact do what you want to do.
Under the Manage tab > Additional Settings > Arrowheads, there is a fair bit of customizing available.
Just like every other Type in REVIT , Duplicate the Type (rename it) then use the properties of Arrow Style, Fill Tick, Arrow Closed, Arrow Width Angle, Tick Size and Heavy End Pen Weight to create you own custom arrowheads.
Once defined you can then apply thiose custom arrow heads as a property of your Text Types, Dimensions, Tags and Annotation type. Basically the arrowheads are a nested property in your annotation type.
Maybe have a look under the Additional Settings menu . . . . . . there's all kinds of goodies in there.

Here are my text arrows I just adjust them using the dialog that dgcad has shown. I have just changed my "Arrow Width Angle" to 90 deg

Well thats a real shame that we cant edit the arrow heads. But thank you for that guys, it had made this a bit easier for me and atleast now i understand how it works. See idealy id like to make the arrow head a bit thicker pen as well as change it to 90°, but i gues il have to settle for just 90° for now.
Thank you to all who helped. I appreciate it

So is there a way of hinting to autodesk that this should be something that we would like the option to change?
If this is possible, can we excirsise it?
