I created a chandelier which creats all kinds of spidery shdow from it's own form.  is there a way to not have so much shadow?  I am assuming it has to do with the light settings

Try tweaking the settings in the view Graphic Display Options ?

Try to add more studio lights, while you are rendering. See the post below.

The second one might have the similar light fixture as yours.
