Hi!I'm trying to use the Tread Number tools on a multistory stair but it only works in the first floor, the option to define the Tread Number don´t appear in the other floors where the stair is copied.Anyone knows how to solve this?
I'he attached an image showing what´s is going on... The stair is set to go to the Level 1 to Level 2, and Multistory to Level 4.
Thank you.

What do you mean by: "... the option to define the Tread Number don´t appear in the other floors where the stair is copied..."?
Muti-story stairs are not copied floor to floor.
Did you follow the process as outlined in your HELP?

The Multistory is set to Level 4.
I know its not an actual copy, just don´t know how to name it hehe
Can you use the Tread Number in a multistory stair, not on the first levels?

I am having the same trouble. The stair that I am using is drawn from Level 2 up to Level 3 with a Multi-Story Top Level at the level 5. When I try to use the Stair Path tool or the Tread Number tool, I cannot apply either one to the multi-story portion of the stair object.

Turn stair path on in VG for the view - annotations.

Thanks for the idea WWHub. I checked the VG settings, and the stair paths were all on. I tried to duplicate the problem in a blank file from our project template (see attached). The Tread Number tool is able to grab the stair between Level 1 & Level 2, but it isn't grabbing the stairs above that. A similar problem appears in plan views of Level 2 and Level 3 when I try to use the Stair Path tool. It seems to be something hard-wired into the program where the portions of a stair object above the original definition cannot make use of the annotation tools. Unless I am missing something or if there are better ideas, I think I will stick to drawing stairs one level at a time and using Model Groups for similar floors above.
