Hello,
I’m coming to the conclusion that my Revit skills are not that great when modelling unique building elements (and lets face not much of what we do is standardized). I’m thinking that I need to get much more into Revit families to overcome much of the hard modelling work I face.
So my questions are these:
- Am I right to put all of my engeries into learning all about families
- And if you agree with the above is this ‘New Metric ebook on Revit Families’ by Michael Anonuevo a good place to start?
Thanks for any comments/observations!
PS. Apolgies if this the wrong place for this thread!)

I think the best place to start is to download "the Families Guide" from the AutoDESK site and thoroughly read it.
