Problem adding new revision and new revision cloud: Checked revision as issued, added new revision tried to add a cloud for new revision and recieved message that cloud can not be added to issued revision. Expanded error message indicated that an element was deleted a error must be resolved. The id # for error changes afte each inquiry. What is the issue and what is the solution?

"recieved message that cloud can not be added to issued revision"
You can't add a cloud to a revision that you have already checked as issued. Click Revision Cloud under the annotate tab then look at your Properties and change the Revision to your NEW revision and not your already issued one

I know that once the revision has been issued that a cloud can not be added. However, I have created a subsequent revision that has not yet been issued and this I when I get the message that a revision cloud can not be added to an issued revision. Something is not alowing the added revision to register as being available.

Post an image of your revision dialog box and the error that pops up when trying to create a new revision cloud.

Did you copy an existing cloud or draw a new one?

What Revit version are you using? After digging into it a little bit this is a recognised bug in 2010 (not sure about other version but its not a problem in 2013) so uncheck all the issued revisions before trying to add a cloud then change the revision that the cloud is trying to associate with to the latest revision you are trying to add. Then recheck the issued boxes.

I am using version 2010. I'll try what you recommended. Thanks
