Is it possible to schedule/quantify wall skirtings when they are created as 'in-place' sweeps?
Thanks in advance!

If you make your sweeps using in-place families you can schedule them.

Did you look under schedules? Your question suggests you did not because you can schedule wall sweeps.

Create In-Place family in 'Generic Model' category.
Using Material Take off you can generate schedule/quantities.

I'm using Revit 2013, and creating the skitings by sketching the path. I've tried categorising the skirting under various categories including 'generic models', but when I create a Material Take Off or Scehdule/Quantities, no quantities are generated under any of the fields - and the most important field I require i.e. 'length' is not available. Am I doing something wrong?

Have you assigned any material to your In-place skirting family???
Check the attached model for more details.
