Hello there,
Again I’m not the greatest Revit modeller so please bear with me. I'm using revit 2013.
I have to join to walls chamfers under a slab that I have created using a sweep. They will join each other if they are the same wall type. However they are two different wall types. I believe the dimensions for the chamfer are the same. Please see the attached images for a proper description.
Is this the best way to model these feature or is there a more sensible way to do it?
Cheers and thanks for any help!!

Use a slab edge instead of a wall sweep.

I don't know how you are doing that sweep because Sweeps use a PATH and tthat path can be a "CLOSED LOOP", in this way, you'll have a PERFECT sweep BUT like WWhub told you use a "SLAD EDGE"

Hi WWhub and Typhoon,
Great stuff that worked thanks. However in some of my views the chamfer appears but in other it does not. Where are the slab edges in the visibility/graphic overrides so that I can add them to my view templates?
Again thanks for sorting this one out.

Slab Edges are a subcategory of the Floor Category.

HI dgcad,
I’m still having trouble getting the chamfer of the slab edge to appear. I’ve attached a stripped down revit file. If you could have a look at it I would greatly appreciate it (my deadline is tomorrow!?!?!?).
Briefly, in the coordination view the chamfer appears but not in the structural view, which is the one I need it to be on in. The slab edge category appears to be on in the V/G Model Overides in the template.
If you can help that will be great thanks
Amok

Hello there, I figured out the problem on Friday. I used the show hidden line function in the view tab to show the hidden line work (sound obvious now!). It works a treat.
Thanks for all yor assistance WWHub and Typhoon
Cheers Amok
