We are upgrading our office files to Revit 2013, and one specific family (see attached) is being deleted when the upgrade is complete.  when we upgrade the family alone, it immediately gets deleted at the loading process into the the project.  it works fine in revit 2012 and all other versions.  wondering if i can get some help in figuring out why it is not working in 2013...

I had a look at this family. Looks nice. A few fomulas in there too.

 

It is face hosted and not wall hosted (which is good). It also has a nested face hosted family for the valve part. Normally not a problem.

 

I tried a few things and tried opening the individual families to upgrade them individually before bringing them into a project but no luck. I can open the main family and nested family in 2013 to upgrade them and then save them but when I try to load the new 2013 family into a project I get the attached error. No luck and out of time for now.

yes, same problem is happening to me.  no prob on upgrading the actual families, but they will not load into the actual apgraded project...  this is a family that i have used in various versions of revit and never had a problem until 2013.  any help will be greatly appreciated!
